2018 fall black bear harvest
Congratulations to Kirk who was successful on his first big game hunt. An added bonus to that was getting a black bear with a perfect white V. After tagging out on his first day, he opted to purchase his second tag… and tagged out on his second day with another black bear with a white V…
After one of the longest winters with an accumulation of over 9 feet of snow, we are finally able to get to our bear bait stations. Because of this, the bears are coming out hungry and are hitting our stations hard. We are seeing lots of activity with 300 pound class bears.

2017 Hunt: Congratulations to Brian Dezell on his successful bear hunt. He bagged a 252 pound bear on his first evenings hunt.
We got off to a slow start as the snow stayed with us longer then normal. However, after baiting our stations, we are starting to see a lot of activity. Here is just a few photos of the bears visiting the sites. As you can see in photo one, our friendly bear is waving to us with his belly full of popcorn.
Photos feature a few of our black bear stations. As you can see, the bears are healthy and plentiful.
